Brobee Pinata

The making of Brobee Pinata.

Mike built the Brobee skeleton out of boxes we had left over after Christmas.
Here is the skeleton Mike built.
I covered the skeleton with lime green and green fringed tissue paper. The face and cones were made with heavy card stock.
Here is Lizzy (she had just woken up) with her Brobee Pinata
We are planning a yo gabba gabba theme 1st birthday party for Lizzy. We will be making most things ourselves since there isn't very many yo gabba gabba items in stores. Lizzy will turn 1 May 25th!

Update

Lizzy is doing good she is starting to put syllables together. She mostly says "baa baaah" and we think we heard he say "poohey"so next thing should be ma ma or da da. She still loves to roll around and occasionally she will get in a crawling position but she has yet to actually crawl, rolling is more fun right now.

Lizzy is eating two puree meals a day and her usual bottles. We gave her some mashed potatoes from our plates but either she doesn't like the texture of it or she doesn't like mashed potatoes. She seems be very healthy. Lizzy's next doctor's appointment is this month, her 9 month appointment.
No teeth yet!

Lizzy is growing up

Lizzy is doing great, she loves rolling everywhere and she loves dancing with daddy. We recently weighed Lizzy at home and she is 18lbs! She is getting so big. Lizzy is outgrowing her infant car seat so we have ordered her a convertible car seat for big girls. It seems not too long ago she was actually too small for an infant car seat. Lizzy weighed 4 lbs, 11oz when she was born and car seats are for babies 5 lbs and up. My tiny baby is growing up.

Here is Lizzy 1 week old getting ready to leave the hospital.
