Update
I just wanted to update and let everyone know that Lizzy is doing great in Kindergarten now. Yesterday and Today she did not cry and just walked into line and her class by herself. Lizzy talks about her days and seems to be having lot of fun learning at school. I don't have any pictures to post and I'm not sure how often I will be posting on here only because with Lizzy in school there's not much to post about. Lizzy goes to school, gets home and does homework, relaxes, dinner, then it's bath, and bed. For now I will continue this blog and post as things things happen that I would like to share. I know our family enjoys this blog so I will continue to try to post pictures when I have them. I am finishing up a new shutterfly photobook and it just reminds me how important having photos is for me. It helps me go back to those precious memories in time.

Lizzy's First Day of Kindergarten!
Lizzy started Kindergarten today. She was very excited this morning she even woke up before me and got herself dressed in her school clothes by herself. We got to school and I could tell she was nervous.
Lizzy wasn't sure about playing on the playground because they had wood chips but after a little while she joined in playing on the playground. Then it was flag ceremony time. That is when Lizzy lined up with with her class for the Pledge of Allegiance and school announcements.
She went on her own but as you can see in the last picture she was worried and watched me like a hawk. Finally it was that time to say goodbye and walk her to her classroom. Lizzy got to her desk but didn't want to sit down and began to cry. I stayed with her until another teacher came for Lizzy. Lizzy calmed down and took a walk with this teacher to see the playground while I left.
I'm home now and praying Lizzy's first day goes well. Before today I was excited for Lizzy to start school and really not very sad. But today is different I am sad and feel a little lost. What am I going to do all day today? My little shadow isn't here. Well I'm going to try to find something to occupy my time until it's pick up time and I can find out how Lizzy's day went.

Lizzy Gets Her Ears Pierced!
Two days later one of her earrings fell out. Lizzy was so scarred to get it back in. It broke my heart because she had been so brave and was doing so good cleaning her ears then the earring fell out. We got it back in but it wasn't easy. Her ears are healing well now but she is very careful about anyone or anything coming near her ears.

Chickens...Bamboo...and lots of Jumping!
Lizzy had lots of fun visiting her great aunt's house! There is so much to do there. Lizzy especially loved jumping on the trampoline with her great aunts and uncle!

Lizzy at the Pool
Lizzy still loves to swim. Today we went to our community pool to check it out. Lizzy had a great time! For some reason Lizzy isn't enjoying her swim lessons though. She is taking swim lessons through the city and refuses to swim or join the class. Not sure why...after several attempts I think we might throw in the towel. I hate to have to do this but she is developing fears there that she didn't have before. Outside of the class she swims great and enjoys herself. Thankfully Lizzy is now swimming on her own without floats this year and doing great! That was the goal for the swim lessons but she figured it out on her own!
