The Bride and Flower Girl

We are back from Christian and Briana's wedding. It was beautiful and we had a great time. Lizzy did a great job as a flower girl and loved seeing and meeting new family she had not met. My camera wasn't taking the best pictures so I just didn't even try to take pictures. Hopefully we will be able to have and share some of the professional pictures taken at the wedding. Until then this is one that Briana's friend took in the dressing room. Lizzy and her new Tia Briana.

Puffy Paint

We tried making puffy paint and it was actually pretty easy. Equal amounts of white glue and shaving cream with some food coloring and you have puffy paint. Lizzy used her hands to feel the paint and make the ice cream to the ice cream cone It actually puffed up even more after it dried which was pretty cool.

Little Sun Devil

Lizzy will be going to summer school at the ASU Preschool. The preschool is on campus and Lizzy is excited to ride to school with daddy. The summer school program looks like a lot of fun. Each week is a theme like cooking and they have a chef come in and teach, art and they visit the art museum on campus, one week will be space and it looks like they want to coordinate with Mike to set up a tour where he works. We took a tour of the preschool and then had lunch with Mike at Smash Burger on campus. Lizzy is very excited about summer!

Easter 2013

Our Easter consisted of a quiet Easter at home. Lizzy woke up very excited proclaiming it was Easter Day then searched for her Easter basket that was filled with lots of goodies. Later Mike hid eggs and let Lizzy know the Easter bunny had left eggs in the yard. Lizzy loved the Easter egg hunt. We had ham with all the trimmings and a carrot cake that Lizzy helped make. We colored eggs and Lizzy ate two hard boiled eggs. Then, Lizzy hid eggs for Mike and I to find in the backyard. The day ended with popcorn and the movie Hop, a full and eventful Easter at home.
